For the love of naan, I have made a Naan without tandoori or how to make naan on tawa video recipe. Making naan at home is very easy and the results are so satisfying. The following ingredients can make 10 Naans.

Naan without Tandoor ingredients

Flour           5 cups
Yeast           1 tbs
Salt              1 tbs
Water         500 ml
Oil               60 ml

Directions:

Mix flour, yeast, salt, and then add 60ml oil or butter and mix well.

Knead a soft dough with lukewarm water. Let the dough rest for few hours. The dough rising time depends on the temperature, when the temperature is warm it takes 2 hours to fully rise.

We the dough rises then divide the dough into 10 equal parts. Roll each dough ball to a circular disk with a rolling pin.

Apply water to one side of this rolled naan and put it onto the hot pan. The wet part must touch the pan so which helps it to stick to that pan till it is fully cooked.

Soon you will notice bubbles start on the surface of the naan. Now, hold the handle and turn over the pan and face this side of the naan towards the flames. Keep the flames medium and keep rotating the pan to get equal cook the nan.

You can now pull the nan off the pan, when it is cooked it gets off the pan easily and you will notice that in no time you have made your own Naan without Tandoor.  If you wish you can apply better to the naan and serve it hot.
