Naan without Tandoor
Hot and crispy crust naan is favourite of us all and we have always seen it making them in a tandoor, clay oven. For the love of naan I have made this Naan without tandoor or how to make naan on tawa video recipe. Making naan at home is very easy and results are great. The ingredients I used for making the Naan dough are
Flour (any flour works) 5 cups
water 2 cups(500ml)
Mix the dry ingredients, then add 60ml oil or butter and mix well.Knead to a soft dough with
lukewarm water. Let the dough rest for few hours. The rising time depends on the temperature, when the temperature is warm it takes 2 hours to fully rise. with this quantity of ingredients I can make 10 Naan.
divide the dough to 10 equal parts and then roll it with the help of rolling pin .roll it to the shape as you like. apply water to one surface and transfer the naan to the hot pan.Make sure the wet part faces downwards.when bubbles starts to form on the upper surface.turn the pan over face the bubbling side towards the flame. keep the heat to medium.keep rotating the pan to get equal color and cooking.when this side is done and the naan get off the pan easily then it means your Naan without Tandoor is done. serve it hot .Apply some butter if you like .
