We see different variety of pasta and all type of pasta share one common thing they are made of ,the durum wheat. Macaroni is of these many dry dry pasta types.The short curved shape pasta is known as elbow Macaroni.These short sized pastas are popular in salads.I am sharing Elbow Macaroni Recipe that i usually make with variety of vegetables and sometimes add meat to it.the meat variety depends on the your choice.chicken is preferred mostly because of it low cooking time.The sauces like soya sauce,chili sauce vinegar and chinese salt are used to enhance the flavour.This recipe was made for 4 servings.The ingredients for this recipe are
1 Packet of elbow Macaroni
Green Cabbage quarter of 1 medium sized head
Purple Cabbage quarter 1 medium sized head
Green peas 1/4 cup
Ginger and garlic paste 1tbs each
Capsicum 1 medium sized
Spring onion 1
Carrot 1 large sized
Green cabbage ,purple cabbage, carrot and capsucum are chopped into cube shape.green onion are chopped into small size pieces,garlic and ginger are minced.
In a pan take around 2 tablespoon of cooking oil add the ginger and garlic paste and stir till you feel the aroma.Add the protein(meat). I’m using 1 cup mutton.stir and cook it on medium flame till it is tender.
Add green peas and followed by cabbages and carrots. Add salt ,chinese salt,vinegar,chili sauce and soya sauce a teaspoon of each sauce and stir.
meanwhile get the Macaroni boiled adding salt to it,drain and rinse under tap water and add to the mixture of vegetable .stir and then add 1/4 cup of tomato ketchup and a tablespoon of chili flakes.stir
Top it with spring onion and capsicum and leave with lid on on low heat for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes the deliciously yummy pasta is ready to be enjoy.
